Mesa Stool

Inspired by a road trip through New Mexico and the flat top mesas that are native to the region; the Mesa Stool resurrects classic techniques used by master leather-workers paired with a contemporary form.

Belting leather straps are skived, and invisibly fastened to the sloped backrest, following the angle seamlessly. The piece also features an invisible return swivel mechanism.
